Centennial Village

Centennial Village is part of the University of Miami’s multi-year plan to modernize campus housing and enhance the first-year residential experience. Located in the footprint of the former Hecht and Stanford Residential Colleges, Centennial Village is home to five residential colleges: Biscayne, Coral, Grove, Ibis, and Vista.

Together, these communities bring residential spaces, dining, recreation, study areas, and shared amenities into one connected village environment. Through the residential college model, Centennial Village supports students as they live, learn, connect, and thrive during their first year at UM.

Amenities

Bathroom Each floor has wet-core style bathrooms, meaning the bathrooms are communal and shared, but fully private.    
Laundry Community laundry is available on nearly every floor. Laundry is included in the rental rate.
Recreation Rooms Recreational spaces are available within the community for residents to gather and connect.
Meditation Room A quiet space to relax and reflect is available in each building.
Music Practice Rooms Music practice rooms are located in select shared areas within Centennial Village and are available to all residents.
Communal Kitchen A communal kitchen is available in Vista Residential College for residents to use.
Outdoor Terraces Outdoor terraces are available within the community, offering residents spaces to enjoy the outdoors and views of Centennial Village and the Coral Gables campus.
Study Areas Study areas are available throughout Centennial Village for individual and group studying.
WiFi Campus WiFi access is available throughout the building.
Secure Entry Residents must swipe their Cane Cards to access residential spaces.
Vending Machines Vending machines are located on the first floor.
