Your move-in appointment time was emailed to you in December and can be found in the table above. Please arrive during your appointment time to help us maintain a safe and efficient move-in experience for everyone. Please note that the appointment time is only meant to indicate when you should arrive to campus for check-in. You are not expected to complete your entire move-in process during only your appointment time, but you are encouraged to be as efficient as possible during the move-in process to limit your time in the building.
Residential students not participating in 'Cane Kickoff orientation are required to test for COVID-19 within 12 hours of their arrival to campus. Walk-up testing is available during the week at the Pavia Garage testing site or testing appointments can be scheduled with Student Health Service for testing on the weekend. Residential students that arrive to campus during the business day should participate in mandatory testing that same day. All students must minimize contact with others until they receive a negative test result. The Spring 2021 testing plan is available on the University's COVID-19 website, and more specific instructions regarding scheduling your weekly on-campus test will be emailed to you soon.
Stop at your area’s front desk to check in to your on-campus housing assignment and to have your 'Cane Card programmed with access to your room. The front desk can also answer any questions and can provide a moving cart for you to rent if you need it. Use your existing campus parking permit or pay-to-park using PayByPhone in the applicable lots. Up to two family members can assist you while moving into your on-campus housing assignment. Per University Guidelines, all students and family members will be required to wear face coverings and practice physical distancing.
Help us maintain an efficient, safe, and physically distant move-in process this year by packing only the items most essential for your time on-campus. Packing only what you need also enables for a quick move-out process when it’s time to return home. Please consult the Guide to Living on Campus as well as HRL's complete Policies and Procedures to learn more about what items students should and should not bring into the University's residential facilities. What to Bring
